Trailer purchase and sale certificate
Sample trailer purchase and sale agreement
Sometimes the issue of passenger transport capacity becomes critical or exclusively operational. In this case, the decision is made to purchase a trailer. Despite the fact that this is not a self-propelled vehicle, it is extremely important to correctly draw up a trailer purchase and sale agreement. Otherwise, problems may arise at the stage of registration with the MREO or when trying to protect your rights and interests violated by an unscrupulous party to the transaction.
Contract form
Regardless of whether a self-propelled or non-self-propelled vehicle is being sold, the purchase and sale agreement only needs to be drawn up in simple written form. You can write it with a simple ballpoint pen, type it on a typewriter, or download and print the form on your computer and fill it out according to the sample. The main thing is to comply with the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation regarding its content, and simple rules of business turnover. In particular:
- It is advisable to use a computer, in which case the chance of making corrections will be reduced to zero.
- If you still use the handwritten version, then do not use a pencil, but only a ballpoint or gel pen. After this, you will not be able to make corrections.
- All information is entered from the beginning of the line. It is necessary to exclude the possibility of additions to the original text. When handwriting, the remaining empty space to the end of the page and in the lines is crossed out.
- It is advisable to indicate the transaction price not only in numbers, but also in words.
- Errors and corrections are not allowed.
Attention! It is important to describe all agreed terms of the transaction as completely as possible. In accordance with the principle of freedom of contract, the parties can record any additional, important, in their opinion, circumstances relating to the transfer of the subject of the contract, the payment procedure, warranty periods, etc.
In general, an agreement can be drawn up even on a piece of paper, the main thing is that by the time of registration with the MREO, filing a declaration with the Federal Tax Service, and under other circumstances, it retains a presentable and readable appearance.
For general convenience, the agreement should be drawn up in 3 copies. One for each party, and the remaining one for registration with the MREO. From the point of view of the current regulations, the inspector during registration can accept a copy, although sometimes some problems arise. Therefore, in order to avoid unnecessary time spent on friction with traffic police officers, it is easier to fill out an extra form.
What must be included in the agreement
From the point of view of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, it is critically important to describe in detail the subject of the transaction in the DPC. This condition is called essential. If any ambiguity arises at this point, the question of the validity of the announcement will arise. Therefore, the trailer data is written very clearly:
- Brand,
- VIN - number of units,
- year of issue,
- manufacturer,
- color.
However, this does not mean that indicating the subject of the transaction is sufficient for a full-fledged purchase and sale agreement for a non-self-propelled vehicle.
After the name of the document itself, the date and place of conclusion of the agreement, the details of the parties are indicated:
- Last name, first name, patronymic of individuals,
- passport details,
- status in the transaction (seller, buyer, representative of the party). If the agreement is concluded by legal entities or a representative, then information about the document on the basis of which the person acts is additionally entered.
Attention! Indicating the registration address is not necessary, but it will be useful if necessary to send a statement of claim or clarify something with the previous owner.
The contract specifies on what basis the seller has ownership of the item. It would be a good idea to indicate the PTS details if you have one. It is in the buyer’s interests to write down that the item is transferred free of encumbrances and claims of third parties.
Price is an important component of the agreement. It is difficult to imagine an agreement in which the parties would forget to indicate it. But even in this case, the issue will be resolved in court after determining the market price for a similar trailer at the time of conclusion of the contract.
Do not neglect the annexes to the agreement. The contract itself can serve as an act of acceptance and transfer. In this case, information about this is written down as a condition. However, the act can also be drawn up separately. Another application should be completed if the money is not transferred to the buyer at once upon conclusion of the contract. In this case, it is convenient for the parties to draw up a payment schedule and note each payment in it, confirming this fact with the signature of the parties.
If the money is transferred immediately, then it is worth issuing a receipt or indicating in the DCP that the money has been received in full, and confirming this with the signature of the seller.
At the end, the number of copies of the agreement is indicated and the signatures of the parties are placed. Dogs for tractors or trailers for cargo tractors are also drawn up.
Registration of the agreement
The car is registered within 10 days from the date of conclusion of the contract. Exactly the same rules apply for a trailer. To register the purchase, the new owner must appear at the nearest MREO and submit the following documents:
- Your passport;
- PTS (paper or electronic);
- PrEP itself;
- Receipts for payment of duties.
Registration of any trailer is carried out on a commercial basis. You will have to pay for:
- new registration license plates 1.5 t.r.,
- paper STS – 500 rubles,
- plastic STS - 1.5 t.r.,
- for making changes to the PTS – 350 rubles.
Attention! You can register online on the state portal. services. Until January 1, 2019, a discount is available on fees paid through this site. It is quite possible that this practice will be extended further.
On Russian roads you can find not only factory models of non-self-propelled vehicles. Russians successfully create their own models based on existing ones, and sometimes implement completely original ideas. Such trailers and semi-trailers also need to be registered, because PTS is not initially issued for non-factory models. To do this, you need to contact an accredited testing laboratory with an application for a safety assessment and identification of the vehicle.
However, as practice shows, most motorists neglect such registration.
Important points
A trailer, even if it is not a self-propelled vehicle, is subject to state registration. The deadline for it is the same as for a purchased car - 10 calendar days from the date of purchase.
When attaching a trailer, the previous owner will have to pay a personal income tax of 13% in accordance with the norms of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.
If you purchase a homemade trailer, then it is worth checking whether it is registered with the traffic police. In principle, a new owner can register it for the first time, but this will require time and financial costs to obtain a certificate of safety of the structure. In addition, when buying a trailer without such a certificate or registration, the new owner cannot be sure that he will be able to obtain them based on the results of the testing laboratory.
As a general rule, an agreement is concluded in simple written form. At the same time, the Civil Code of the Russian Federation does not prohibit the certification of any transactions if the parties consider it necessary. Therefore, if the reliability of the other party is in doubt, for some reason it is worth visiting the office. The notary will carefully review the documentation and make sure that the transaction is legal.
A standard sample contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer between individuals
Home » Documents » agreements » Purchase and sale agreements » Standard sample of a trailer purchase and sale agreement between individuals
A trailer is a means by which the volume of cargo transported by vehicle increases. Such vehicles do not have engines and move only together with the vehicle itself.
Despite the lack of engines, these objects must be registered with the traffic police. The fact of registration is confirmed by the presence of license plates. The procedure for such registration is practically no different from registering another vehicle.
An important point is that when purchasing such a vehicle, one of the copies of the contract must be transferred to the traffic police authorities to re-register the trailer.
Sample of a standard trailer purchase and sale agreement between individuals
The agreement for the purchase and sale of a trailer is drawn up in writing. The agreement must indicate the place where the document was drawn up, as well as the date.
In addition, the document must contain information:
- About the parties who participate in the legal relationship;
- About the transferred object into the ownership of the buyer;
- About the cost of the transferred object;
- About the procedure for depositing funds.
When specifying information about the parties, personal and passport data of the participants in the legal relationship must be entered. Information must be entered in accordance with a passport or other document that confirms identity.
The object must include technical characteristics, state number, and color of the trailer. The document on the basis of which the seller exercises the right to dispose of the object must be indicated.
At the request of the parties, the text of the agreement may include additional rights and obligations of the parties, the procedure for depositing funds in installments, or the procedure for resolving emerging disputes.
Notarization of the document is not required. The document is drawn up in triplicate.
In addition to the document, the following can be drawn up:
- Trailer acceptance certificate;
- Schedule of payments on installment terms.
Please note that after receiving funds in cash, the seller must issue a receipt.
State registration of a trailer in the traffic police
After purchasing the property, the buyer is obligated to re-register. To do this, you must contact the traffic police with a completed application and the necessary documents. The appeal can be made not only at the place of residence of the person, but also in any department of the authority.
To re-register you must submit:
- A completed application for the re-registration procedure;
- Purchase and sale agreement;
- If available, an acceptance certificate;
- Identity document;
- Document confirming payment of the fee;
- PTS.
What does a truck purchase agreement look like?
For a sample contract for the sale and purchase of a used car, see here.
In order to carry out the procedure, the new owner has only 10 days from the date of signing the agreement.
The seller must make sure that the buyer is in good faith and has made changes to the data register about the owner of the trailer. To do this, you can contact any traffic police department.
The procedure itself is not complicated and is very similar to the procedure for re-registration of any purchased vehicle.
The buyer, at his own discretion, can change the state registration plate or not change it. In this case, the authority’s employees will simply issue him a new certificate of ownership of the trailer.
You can purchase a trailer in a specialized store or from a private individual.
If you contact the store, the seller will independently draw up an agreement. If the purchase is made from a private person, you will have to find the contract form yourself.
The registration authority will accept the document only if it contains all the mandatory terms of the agreement, as well as information about the parties to the legal relationship.
It is not allowed to carry out transactions with an object that has been duly seized, stolen, or to which third parties have rights.
You can find out about the presence of encumbrances on the trailer at any traffic police department.
What documents are needed to draw up a contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer?
Before entering into an agreement, the parties must provide each other with all necessary documentation.
The seller must provide:
- Passport;
- Trailer technical data sheet;
- The document is the basis for the right to dispose of the trailer;
- If there are additional documents for the trailer, the seller must provide them.
The buyer must provide a document that confirms his identity.
Do I need to get it certified by a notary?
As previously stated, the legislator does not establish mandatory notarization as a mandatory requirement for the legal validity of an agreement. However, the parties, if such a condition has been agreed upon by them, can contact a notary and have the agreement certified.
About taxes
The tax must be paid by the seller in the case where the transfer of rights was carried out on a reimbursable basis. In this case, 13% of the cost of the trailer should go to the budget. The 3rd personal income tax declaration is submitted about this next year, which follows the year of sale.
Trailer purchase and sale agreement - how to draw up in 2019
Contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer for a passenger car - requirements of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation
The basic conditions for concluding a transaction for the alienation of a trailer are regulated by Article 454 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, according to which the seller must transfer the trailer into the ownership of the buyer, and the latter must accept it and pay for it. The terms of the transaction are similar to the terms of the contract for the alienation of a car. Read about the specifics of buying and selling a car for legal entities in our separate article “Subtleties of drawing up a contract for buying and selling a car if one of the parties is a legal entity.”
A mandatory condition of the transaction, according to Article 432 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, is an indication of its subject in the contract, that is, the document must indicate the main characteristics of the trailer.
These are usually:
- state registration number;
- type and brand of trailer;
- color, year of manufacture, name of manufacturer.
In addition to indicating the subject of the transaction in it, according to paragraph 1 of Article 485 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, it is advisable to indicate the cost of the trailer in a fixed amount. The law does not contain a requirement for mandatory regulation of this condition, but in practice fixing this issue is necessary.
Trailer transfer registration
Another issue that needs to be outlined in the document is the procedure for transferring property. In particular, it is advisable to indicate within what time frame and in what order the trailer should be handed over to the buyer.
It is important to remember that if such a period is not specifically stated, then the seller will need to actually transfer the property to the buyer within 7 days from the receipt of the corresponding request (Article 312 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). At the same time, in addition to the trailer, the buyer also needs to transfer the title to it and other documents, as well as standard accessories for maintenance.
One of the elements of a transaction for the alienation of property, due to its consensual nature, is the need to also sign a transfer document. Its preparation as an annex to the contract has practical meaning if the moments of signing the contract and the actual transfer of the thing do not coincide. If the transaction and the transfer of the trailer are completed at the same time, the transfer deed and the contract can be combined in one document.
Form of contract for the sale and purchase of a passenger trailer, document execution
The trailer purchase and sale agreement form can be downloaded in the “Forms” section at the beginning of the article.
But it should be borne in mind that the legislation does not provide for a unified form or form of contract for the purchase of a trailer. Thus, the document is drawn up in free form, in writing (by hand or using technical means).
The contract does not require notarization or registration with any authorities, however, in the future, the owner who purchased the trailer will need to make changes to its registration data with the traffic police. He is given 10 days to do this from the date of conclusion of the transaction. In this case, the document is drawn up in three copies: one for the traffic police and one each for the seller and the buyer.
When drawing up the contract, you should indicate:
- title, date and place of compilation;
- data of the parties to the contract (buyer and seller). In practice, initials, places of residence, and passport details are usually indicated;
- terms of the agreement (subject of the transaction, its value, transfer procedure);
- other terms of the transaction that are important for the parties. For example, it is advisable to indicate the terms and procedure for settlement between the parties. Payment can be made either in cash or by transfer to a bank account. In the case of transferring money from hand to hand, a mandatory document is a receipt for receipt of funds, which is handwritten in simple written form. It can be drawn up either on a separate document or included in the text of the transfer deed (if it is drawn up).
It should also be remembered that the contract must be signed by both parties.
So, completing a transaction for the sale of a trailer does not involve any significant difficulties. However, its parties should be very careful and careful, since subsequently one of the copies of the document must be submitted to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Federation.
Even more materials on the topic can be found in the “Agreement” section.
How to draw up a contract for the sale and purchase of a vehicle trailer
Over time, some car enthusiasts decide to buy a trailer or sell it. In this case, the standard approach will be applied. This is due to the fact that the purchase and sale agreement for a vehicle trailer, like any other purchase and sale agreement (SPA), is a document confirming the transfer of ownership to another person who pays a pre-agreed amount of money for this.
The procedure for purchasing and selling a trailer for a vehicle
A successful transaction presupposes that both parties are fully prepared to carry it out. To do this, you need to know what stages the purchase and sale of a trailer includes. Let's consider performing this procedure step by step:
- First, an inspection of the trailer for sale is carried out. Based on the results of this event, all the nuances of the planned transaction are verbally agreed upon. Issues such as the final price of a non-motorized vehicle (VV), registration, etc. are discussed.
- The DCP is filled out. The form of this document can be downloaded from the Internet and printed. You should enter as complete information as possible about both parties to the transaction - the seller and the buyer. Answering the question of how to formalize the purchase and sale of a trailer so that problems do not arise later, let us remind you that you cannot leave empty fields and, if necessary, fill them in with dashes.
How to draw up a contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer
A contract for the sale and purchase of a car trailer is drawn up in accordance with Ch. 30 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation must be in writing. It can be compiled in two versions:
- The DCP acts as a document that imposes obligations to transfer the object of the transaction in the foreseeable future, implying the execution of a transfer and acceptance certificate within a specified period.
- Execution of the agreement at the moment when the trailer is handed over to the buyer. In this case, the agreement acts as an act of acceptance and transfer.
The text of the agreement must reflect all the circumstances surrounding the transaction that are critical for the parties and required by law. The answer to the question of how to draw up a DCP for a trailer is formulated quite simply: its structure must correspond to the characteristics of one of the above options. This will be discussed in more detail below. Please note that the agreement will gain legal force after the parties put their signatures on the DCP form.
Package of necessary documentation
To draw up a contract for the sale and purchase of a caravan between individuals, both the buyer and the seller must prepare documents. The list of papers depends on several factors. Let's look at the most common options.
In the standard case, only a valid civil passport will be required from the buyer. The seller provides:
- your passport;
- trailer registration certificate;
- a document confirming the right to dispose of the trailer;
- additional papers (if available).
Some of our compatriots are not satisfied with the design of industrially produced trailers, and they decide to make such a vehicle themselves. But during operation, shortcomings in its design may be identified, for example, insufficient dimensions. Then the owner of the trailer puts it up for sale. The proceeds are used to purchase materials for the manufacture of a new type of non-motorized cart.
To draw up a contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer for a passenger car, when such a non-self-propelled vehicle was made independently, and also to register it with the traffic police, the seller must provide:
- passport;
- copies of cash receipts and sales receipts for spare parts and materials that were used in the manufacture of the trailer;
- a detailed description of the design of a homemade non-motorized cart. It is also necessary to attach photographs of her taken from different angles;
- a certificate confirming the safety of the trailer, which must be issued by an accredited certification agency.
Looking ahead, we will say that when registering a purchased factory-made or home-made trailer with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, in addition to the DCP and the specified documents, you must provide a receipt confirming the fact of payment of the state duty. It should also be noted that the use of such a trailer is only allowed in conjunction with passenger cars.
Participants in the transaction can also be enterprises of various forms of ownership. In this case, the answer to the question of what documents are needed to issue a trailer certificate is as follows:
- papers indicating the existence of ownership rights to the object of sale;
- diagnostic card (DC) for passing the technical inspection. Required if the age of the non-self-propelled vehicle is more than 3 years and it weighs more than 3.5 tons;
- OSAGO policy. It is necessary when the trailer is planned to be used together with a truck model.
What should be reflected in the content of the document
A typical policy contains:
- Document's name. In our case, a purchase and sale agreement.
- Date and place of registration.
- Details of the parties to the agreement.
- Sections:
- “Object of transaction”;
- "Rights and obligations of the parties".
- What are the terms of payment?
- Responsibility of the parties to the transaction.
- Final provisions.
A prerequisite is a clear definition of the trailer. Its description should include:
- indicate VIN – vehicle identification number;
- Note the characteristics in detail, including year of manufacture, color, size.
Below is a sample trailer purchase and sale agreement form:
In the case of a transaction between individuals, the content of the agreement can be simplified. Such a completed sample contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer for a passenger car is presented below.

Filling out the PrEP form online
Today you can easily find sites on the Internet that provide the opportunity to fill out a DCT form and print the completed sample online. The service is popular among those who value their time. However, here too you must follow the recommendations for filling out the agreement. The main ones are the following:
- You need to print 3 copies - one each for the buyer and seller, the third remains with the traffic police.
- The agreed price of the vehicle is indicated in numbers and words.
- In order to avoid misunderstandings in the future, it is recommended to clearly formulate the responsibilities of the parties, etc.
Are there any differences in the design of the DCP for different types of trailers?
Trailers can be used together with many types of vehicles, as well as for transporting various objects. Let us consider the features of drawing up a purchase and sale agreement for only some of them.
Let's start with non-self-propelled carts for passenger cars. Since 2012, there has been one relaxation in Russia - no technical inspection is required for them.
Next, let's talk about trucks. The purchase and sale agreement for a truck trailer is drawn up in almost the same way as for a passenger car. One of the significant differences is that in order to register with the traffic police, an MTPL policy must be issued for it and, accordingly, a valid inspection document must be available. The difference in the preparation of the DCT may be determined by the status of the parties to the transaction. Most often, non-self-propelled trucks, including semi-trailers, are transferred for a fee to the ownership of one enterprise to another. Then the agreement specifies the names of legal entities recorded in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
Now a few words about the design features of the DCP of a boat trailer. Usually its design includes a winch. It serves to facilitate the movement of a watercraft from a reservoir to a trailed vehicle. Thus, one of the points of the agreement is the mandatory verification by the seller, in the presence of the person making the purchase, of the safety and reliability of the winch.
There are also trailers for transporting motorcycles on the market. Most often they have the form of open carriages. This design has one drawback - the lack of sides. Therefore, you should sign the DCP for a motorcycle trailer after checking the reliability of the fasteners and after the seller provides a sufficient number of rigging straps in the kit.
When concluding a contract for the purchase and sale of a tractor trailer, the buyer, who is a legal entity, must be aware of the specifics of passing the technical inspection of a non-self-propelled vehicle of this type, the weight of which exceeds 3.5 tons:
- if the tractor trailer is between 3 and 7 years old, the inspection frequency is once every 2 years;
- if more than 7 years have passed since the release of this non-self-propelled vehicle - annually.
Thus, before signing the contract for a tractor trailer, the buyer needs to make sure that the above requirements are met.
Validity period for the trailer policy
In 2019, with regard to the validity period of the contract for a trailer before it is registered with the traffic police, the legislation established the following requirement: the contract itself does not have a validity period (unless this clause is specifically included in it), but the new owner must register the non-motorized vehicle within 10 days . If this action is not completed during this period, the previous owner may have problems, for example, in the event of an accident. To protect himself from troubles, the seller must insist on including a clause in the agreement that establishes the validity period of the DCP sufficient for the re-registration of the trailer to the new owner. This will force the buyer to register the non-self-propelled cart in his name on time.
The procedure for re-registration and re-registration of a trailer in the traffic police
Re-registration of a trailer at the State Traffic Inspectorate includes the following steps:
- The seller and buyer submit documents for re-registration of a non-motorized vehicle with the traffic police. An application is submitted.
- The new owner pays the state fee.
- The traffic police officer prepares the relevant papers.
- The trailer is being inspected.
- STS is issued.
On average, it takes a day to re-register a trailer. Delays may occur if documents are filled out incorrectly and additional checks are required.

Contract for the sale and purchase of a trailer (caravan)
Some car enthusiasts eventually decide to purchase a trailer or sell it if necessary. How to draw up an agreement is asked by every person who has not previously encountered this procedure.
How to draw up an agreement
There is a certain procedure for drawing up a purchase and sale agreement. Since a trailer is classified as a vehicle, the procedure itself resembles the universal process of concluding an ordinary purchase and sale, but with a number of features:
- Indication of passport details of participants on both sides.
- Detailed information about the subject of the contract: if the trailer was previously purchased from the factory, then the title already exists. It states the color, VIN number, year of manufacture and model.
- Fixed transaction value.
If there are additional clauses, they must be included in the contract by agreement of the parties. As a rule, an additional act of acceptance and transfer may be drawn up, which significantly complicates the execution of the transaction.
Download the standard form of the Transfer and Acceptance Certificate , which is attached to the contract for the sale and purchase of a vehicle (vehicle) trailer/semi-trailer.
Standard forms of the purchase and sale agreement (SPA) can be downloaded here:
What should be in the content
The agreement acts as the main document confirming the completion of the transaction. It can be executed in standard written form and does not require the work of a notary. The document that is signed by both participants in the process is considered valid. Only under this condition does the agreement enter into legal force.
The following articles may also be useful:
The content must include the following information:
- The exact name indicating the specifics of the transaction
- Where and when is the contract concluded?
- All information about the buyer and seller
- Maximum detailed information about the subject of the contract for its quick identification
- Requisites
- Signatures.
The above information is universal and is prescribed in absolutely all contracts of this category.

You can also simply fill out and print the trailer registration certificate - on the main page of our website there is a service for a similar procedure: just click on the picture below to go to the form to fill out and print.
Collection of documents
To register an official transaction, you will first need to prepare a package of documents:
- Buyer and seller passports
- Information about registering a trailer with the traffic police
- Documentation confirming the safety of using the trailer
- PTS.
If the documentation has been checked in advance and does not raise any doubts, then you can safely pay the fee and bring confirmation to the transaction in the form of a receipt or bank statement.
It is important to take into account that the operation of a homemade trailer is only permissible for owners of passenger cars. Trucks cannot use this right.
If a transaction is carried out between legal entities, the following documents must be present:
- OSAGO
- If the trailer weighs more than 3.5 tons and is older than 3 years, then you need to undergo maintenance and provide the appropriate document.
Before proceeding to concluding a transaction, you need to check the authenticity of the documents and the reliability of the information provided. OSAGO is needed when you plan to use a trailer together with a cargo model of a car, and the owner is an individual.
What actions should the seller and buyer take?
During the transaction process, the seller may present the trailer to the potential buyer for inspection or diagnostic procedures. At the buyer's request, the seller shows the original documents:
The buyer evaluates the device and what condition the product is in. Then he pays the fee at the bank branch. You must first obtain payment details. Next, both parties must arrive together at the traffic police department with a trailer:
- The trailer is parked so that MREO employees can carry out an inspection.
- An application is filled out according to a specific sample, in which you need to indicate the reason why the trailer is being registered and all information about it
- After the inspector completes the inspection, he forms a conclusion. A decision may be made to register, or first you will need to perform some procedures: number replacement, PTS. A decision may be made to refuse followed by an indication of the reason.
- If questions arise regarding documentation, then the current owner resolves the issues with the help of employees, pays the cost of registration, and his mission is completed.
- If a refusal is received immediately, the owner first does everything necessary to eliminate the cause, and then returns to repeat the entire procedure.
Do I need to register with the traffic police?
Registration of a trailer with the traffic police is a mandatory procedure.
From the moment the contract is signed, the trailer must be registered within 10 days (working days). The beginning of the term is the date of signing.
In order to organize registration, you must provide the following package of documents:
- Agreement on the completion of the transaction.
- Passport.
- TS.
- Proof of payment of the fee in the form of a check or bank statement if payment was made online.
It is worth noting that each owner can initiate procedures independently. First you need to make a power of attorney or other document that allows you to handle the registration.
The trailer needs to undergo maintenance, so you need to prepare it for inspection in advance. The compliance of the vehicle will also be checked to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
To familiarize yourself with online registration on the website gosuslugi.ru, it is recommended to watch the video:
Important nuances
In accordance with the simplification of the procedure by law, the contract enters into legal force without notarization if it is signed by both parties and does not contain errors.
It is recommended to pay attention to the following nuances of the transaction:
- The trailer must fulfill all the requirements for vehicles. Failure to comply with the requirement may result in an administrative fine of up to 800 rubles. If mistakes are made when registering a vehicle, the fine may be increased to 2,000 rubles.
- If the device is homemade, then you must provide proof of safe operation. Maintenance is carried out in a specialized institution
- When completing a transaction involving a legal entity, you will definitely need a compulsory motor liability insurance policy.
- It is not necessary to have the trailer appraised. The cost of the object is negotiated individually.
Conclusion
The procedure for obtaining a contract for a trailer is not much different from purchasing or selling a car. But to complete all procedures without errors, it is recommended that you first familiarize yourself with the samples presented above and first collect the necessary package of documents.
