By the way, large quadricycles are often called Road ATVs, and in the West they are abbreviated as GG-Quad, also Moto Quad, Quad Bikes , etc.

Undoubtedly, modern three-wheeled vehicles look very impressive, but this is a miracle. almost like a full-fledged car. Also, according to one of the owners, unlike two-wheeled motorcycles, you will have to stand in traffic jams on such a device no less often than on a car, and the comfort will be much less. The practical exam can be taken within a three-month period after passing the theory and consists of two stages:

1. Testing skills in performing the following movement elements:

• standing start on a hill;
• braking, stopping at different speeds, as well as emergency stopping;
• when you engage the gear once, make a U-turn in a limited space;
• driving self-propelled vehicles in reverse into the box.

The practice is divided into 2 parts. The first is held in a closed area. During the second, the person will have to complete a task on a special route under conditions of real use of the vehicle. • performing an emergency stop or braking;
• entry onto the overpass;
• snake movement;
• maneuvering within a limited space.

Access to the practical part is provided only after successful completion of the theory. You can fail practical tests three times. If you fail to pass the test more times, taking the exam again is possible only after re-training.

Getting an ATV driver's license in 2019

Gostekhnadzor is responsible for issuing rights to an ATV. Its offices are located in almost every city. In paragraph 12 of Ch. 1 of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 796 of July 12, 1999 states that it is permissible to take exams at the place of registration or the location of the driving school that provided training. To obtain a license, you must contact the same institution where the person took the exam.

The issuance, replacement and return of a driver's license with a mark confirming the right to drive an ATV in 2019 is carried out in accordance with Chapter. 5 of the above-mentioned legal act. The document is issued strictly against receipt. The certificate is valid for 10 years. When this period ends, the document must be changed.
